Following the completion of a qualified NAVTA -approved veterinary assistant program, students receive a code to take the exam for the Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) credential. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will handle routine animal care and help scientists, veterinarians, and veterinary technologists and technicians with their daily tasks.
